Pulp Chairs 05PLP01
By Christopher Pillet
Starting from a very simple frame, Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher of Neuland created an extremely innovative project that received an Interior Innovation project that received an Interior Innovation Award in 2012. The key to the success of this best-selling armchair is its versatility, which allows it to evolve almost continuously, not to mention the high-quality tailored workmanship of the upholstery. The structure is available in polyurethane, with cushions; padded and covered in hide, with the characteristic reinforced ribbing reminiscent of the backbone of an elephant; padded and upholstered in fabric, with hand-stitched seams. In addition to wood or metal legs, the chair is available with a slide-frame base, rocking base, swivel base or castors. The chair can be complemented with a removable Lips cushion, in a round or shaped version, to create the most varied colour combinations.
